FESTIVAL 2025 OPPORTUNITIES

Sunday, ​November 2nd, 12 pm-5 pm 2025

Oakland Cemetery

Currently in our 23rd year, the festival receives around 10,000 visitors. 


FREE TO THE PUBLIC

Join us at our second year. Visitors of all ages learn about and experience the Day of the Dead festival. Guests enjoy traditional dancing, crafts and authentic Mexican food, and entertainment. View a display of altars honoring lost family and friends that are decorated with flowers, food, and beverages. Admission is free.

This festival is presented in partnership with the Consulate General of Mexico and Oakland Cemetery.

As part of our celebration, a limited number of mausoleums  will be available for participants to set up traditional ofrendas (altars) in honor of loved ones who have passed. 

🕯 How to Participate:

  • First come, first serve: Space is limited, and availability will be granted in the order submissions are received.
  • Participation is free, but submission does not guarantee a spot due to space limitations.
  • Once you submit your request, our team will review your application and contact you to discuss further details, including altar guidelines and setup logistics.

We are currently accepting applications for food vendors and artisans who want to showcase their work at this unique cultural festival. This is an incredible opportunity to share your creations with a diverse audience while celebrating the rich traditions of Día de Muertos.

Food Vendors: 

  • Traditional Mexican cuisine, fusion dishes, and festival-friendly treats.

Artisan Vendors: 

  • Handmade crafts, folk art, jewelry, clothing, and cultural goods.

Spaces are limited! Apply now by filling out our vendor application form. Applications are on a rolling basis.

Show off your Día de los Muertos style in our Catrín & Catrina Costume Contest!

 How to Participate:

  • Come dressed in your best Catrín or Catrina attire on the day of the event.
  • Register at one of our contest tables to receive your entry number.
  • Take the stage, where the audience and judges will cast their votes!

Prizes will be awarded to the most stunning, creative, and traditional looks!

Embrace the elegance of La Catrina, the iconic skeleton figure created by José Guadalupe Posada, and celebrate the beauty of life and remembrance in true Día de Muertos fashion. Whether classic or with a unique twist, let your outfit shine!
