The Institute of Mexican Culture, or as you may have known us before, Instituto de México, has been around since the late 1990s.
Our history is long and deeply rooted in collaboration with many of Atlanta’s leading institutions, including the Atlanta History Center, High Museum of Art, Woodruff Arts Center, Georgia State’s Rialto Theater, the Dogwood Festival, the Westminster School, and Historic Oakland Cemetery. Through these relationships, we have brought meaningful events and programs to the community, celebrating the culture, heritage, and traditions of Mexico.
We work closely with the Consulate General of Mexico in Atlanta, strengthening cultural ties and ensuring that Mexican traditions remain a vibrant part of Georgia’s diverse cultural landscape. Our commitment to cultural exchange continues to inspire educational initiatives, artistic collaborations, and community engagement, enriching the experiences of both the Mexican and broader Atlanta communities.
